RETAIL & OFFICES
As a Chartered Architect, Andrew Pegley R.I.B.A. can provide professional expertise and experience for a wide spectrum of residential and commercial new-build works, extensions, conversions and planning projects.
These include the restoration and alteration of Listed Buildings and for developments in Conservation Areas.
Commercial clients vary from individual entrepreneurs and property developers, through local law firms and practices to The Fellows of an Oxford college.
The urban development types include individual houses and apartments and the conversion of derelict or redundant properties into dwellings. Other urban clients include many retail unit operators and restauranteurs, for whom the property services may include permissions for changes of use and for advertisement consents.
In the countryside, as well as for houses, the project and development range includes agricultural, livestock and dairy units. In the villages and market towns, designs for nursery schools and other educational premises have been undertaken.
In the planning process, the aim is to secure the permission by careful design and negotiation. However, in many cases, this result has only been achieved by the successful conduct of Appeals to the Planning Inspectorate.
Current projects are throughout Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, as well as in and around London and across the South East of England. The geographical extent of past operations ranges from Yorkshire down to the South Coast and from Bristol to Kent.
Services and commissions are backed by full membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects (www.architecture.com) and by registration with the Architects' Registration Board (www.arb.org.uk).
